My entry for the Competition:-)

                                          THE SYMPHONY OF AIR

It deeply kisses your cheeks as it goes by,
Brushing past young geeks, to reach the blue sky.

When things are thick it stops by to cry,
As weather turns pleasant, happily does it lie.

Sometimes it rages with all its will,
Or chooses to chill out, just behind the hill.

It hops on and on to find new skies everyday,
And never fails to pop in surprises full of gay.

Imagine a sky without the hope for air,
Desperately seeking a tinge of flair,
So will be our life without emotions share.

Enjoy the ride as it takes you high and low,
But learn to master it as you grow,
And remember, when its time, just let go.

RESOLUTIONSSSS...

Well funny as it seems i have never ever taken a resolution in my life.Just becuase it doesnt even last for a day according to me.So why so much fuss about this topic? As a new year comes close, from a kutti child to pattis and thathas everyone starts to take a resolution which im sure most of them will never keep up for long and people like me will forget what resolution they took after a few days.So it has become just a ritual...to take one and never mind about it after some time. What is the need for it?If someone wants to prevent thier habits by taking a resolution then from my experience its mission impossible, because u are way beyond from stopping an action which is involuntary. Brain is an ingenious thing which doesnt always acts for us but sometimes it acts against us and to hold it with just a resolution is like constrcting a dam wall with paper.Logic should prevail here rather than just a resolution, if you go deep in to your self and search the reason why you do a thing, analyse the pros and cons of it and search for an alternative then poof! the habit is gone. Its not as easy as it seems but surely tangible and quiet the practical way.So if you want to get rid of a habit then right now is your time to do it, go ahead and give it a try:-)

The Broken Egg

This is about a poem, one of my first. But for Gods sake dont expect a good one at that, it will be as childish and silly as u can imagine so beware! I wrote it when i was in 9th standard when i first started writting poetry.
When i reread the poem i felt it was blank without any punctuations, if u r particular about t then sorry i am quiet confused where to put a comma and where a semicolon so just read it as u were a 6-year old:-)
Here it goes....

When i was a small boy
I liked to be in fun and joy

Once my mother told me to buy an egg
I went to buy the egg by leg

I entered the nearby store
Waiting in the crowd i got bore

Atlast i got the egg and it seemed to me a ball
Soon in my hand it became a doll

I threw it and tried to catch
But alas!it fell down and became a patch

Atlast in the home i landed
And i entered the house empty-handed.

P.S: A real life incident;-)

An Article Which Moved Me

IF A DOG WERE YOUR TEACHER
"If a dog were your teacher,
these are some of the lesson you might learn...
When loved ones come home, always run to greet them
Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joy ride
Allow the experience of fresh air and
the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy
When it is in your best interest, practice obedience
Let others know when they've invaded your teritory
Take naps and stretch before rising
Run,romp and play daily
Thrive on attention and let people touch you
Avoid biting, when a simple growl will do
On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass
On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree
When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body
No matter how often you're scolded,
don't buy into guilt thing and pout
Run right back and make friends
Delight in the simple joy of a long walk
Eat with gusto and enthusiasm
Stop when you have had enough
Be loyal
Never pretend to be something you're not
If what you want lies burried, dig until you find it
When someone is having a bad day
be silent....
...sit close by.
...and nuzzle them gently."
I found this article from a magazine named FROZEN THOUGHTS...Thought it would be worthwhile to share it...If you like it leave a comment:-)

How It Started?

The idea of creating a blog came to mind solely for the reason that i am vetti, definitely too workless. The inspiration for the tile came up with an Adam Young song Sailboat. Dont know why i selected this title but at that instant just liked it so kept it and designed the page, but soon after when i was talking to my mom about this and she asked why this title then came my realization!!Indeed the title reflected my character, sailboat doesnt have a destination or a purpose but travels on and on facing new adventures each day, and venturing to new lands, relishing thier beauty but back again soon for a long and dangerous journey which lasts to eternity.
